Anonymous asked: Okay, so what do you think Bartolomeo's crew will do after the Dressrosa arc is over? Do you think they'll sail their own way, but Bartolomeo will give Luffy's crew a den den mushi so that they can call him if they ever need him? Or do you think he'll follow along with Luffy's crew in his own ship? I can't rationalize Bartolomeo leaving Luffy's group after the arc's over, he's such a big fanboy, him leaving the group to sail on his own adventures seems out of character for him.
While I wouldn’t mind seeing him a part of the crew, I’m thinking that they will ultimately part ways. What I can imagine is them having a post-arc party and Barto finally getting to kick it with Luffy and then Luffy just casually telling him to go live his own life or whatever. But since the crew has to high-tail it to Zoa right after the whole current fiasco with Doffy is dealt with, maybe Barto will be around for another arc. If Luffy is following Whitebeard’s suit and claiming territories, the tenuous alliance between the Heart Pirates and the Straw Hat Pirates may just become a real thing amongst many crews. It doesn’t seem like Law has a legitimate intention to become Pirate King, so I can see them maintaining a valid relationship wherein they won’t end up fighting for the title (though a brawl between them would be epic) - the guy saved Luffy’s life after all; add in the events of Punk Hazard and there’s definitely a rapport there. And Barto joining that alliance seems A-OK too.

Anonymous asked: Not to disagree with the concept of Robin having Haki (I'd be way down for that) but I was under the impression the ability to do it was something you were born with not something you could pick up?
Haki is a mysterious power that is found in every living being in the world. It is not that different from the normal senses. However, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. Broadly, there are two types of Haki common to everyone, given the proper training; however, there is a third type that only a certain group of “chosen ones” are said to possess.
pitpplunite asked: Do you think that the strawhats will ever get a new member?
Of course. It’s been confirmed that there will be more than one new member, so it doesn’t really matter what I think.
Anonymous asked: I hope that the 10th Mugiwara crew member is a girl who fights the boys most of the time or reads (robin finally having a book buddy). And like when sanj or zoro fight she'll join in just to fight. I imagine her a swordswoman who can rival zoro and they constantly train together (it would also slightly change zoro's view that women are weak possibly?). And of course since this is Oda-sensei we're talking about, she'd probably have a deep backstory, possibly to do with a yonko.
I personally don’t think it’s in Oda’s style to add in a new crewmate who has the predominant purpose of complementing another protagonist. In regard to Zoro, I would feel bad if she also specialized in swordsmanship if she’s just going to constantly get side-lined in match-ups. Also, I think the role of “changing Zoro’s view that women are weak” is already pretty well-established in his constant encounters with Tashigi. Though personally, I don’t think Zoro has that opinion all too much (his ass being handed to him by Kuina all the time way back yonder is ingrained in him, I’d say), it seems more like he’s just callous towards Tashigi because she in particular has been thrown into scenarios were she lacks the power to enforce her idea of justice and ends up “looking weak”. Regarding a book buddy for Robin, I felt that she had that with Chopper when they were first establishing their relationship and she often called him Mr. Doctor; I’m actually pretty sad that their relationship isn’t flaunted more often, it’s pretty darn adorable. Though I do completely agree that it’s high time for a female addition; it’s something that the readership has been anticipating since Luffy met Margaret, probably even before. And she definitely should be a powerhouse. It’s realistic because we’re in the New World now for darn sake, and it’s just right because it even feels like Robin’s power level was snubbed for the time-skip. She definitely deserves to know at least one form of Haki by now! She trained with the freaking Revolutionaries for gosh sake!
emeticbomb asked: hi, is there a way to view the blog without so many pictures loading at once? i just use the basic theme to scroll, if i do tumbl, and the theme you guys use destroys my computer, plus i like looking at the pictures one by one ala the original theme. i'm not on here a lot, only to check select blogs, yours is one of them, and i miss browsing. i guess i could just make a throwaway account and only follow you?
The theme was use is actually pretty simple; it uses the basic auto-scroll feature that only loads more posts if you scroll down to the bottom of the page. Even then, it should only be loading about 10 posts at a time, which should be no problem, generally. If your computer can’t handle that degree of activity, I’m not sure there’s anything we can do about that, really. What I would recommend are Tumblr viewer clients such as Tumblr mosaic viewer (which is actually more intense because it loads much more posts, but it might be less heavy because they are condensed to 250px or 500px images). Another thing would be an add-on for Tumblr of some sort that lets you filter your dashboard by particular blogs; so you could avoid making a new account entirely just by being able to filter your dashboard to show only our posts whenever you’d like to check out our blog’s content/updates.
Anonymous asked: Did they do a special with Big Mama involved?? I'm caught up on the manga but not with what's going on with the anime.
Nope, the specials usually re-cover segments that the anime has already covered or consist of filler material based upon pretty long-past, established material in both the anime and the manga. Since Big Mom has just shown up in a brief cameo and is likely to get her own arc in the future, not much reason to have an anime special revolving around her at this time.
