I hope they do a TV special remake of the arc so it looks better
Anonymous asked: Which part of One Piece do you think you cried the most? (If you cried in any parts that is) For me, it'd have to be between Chopper's past or Merry's funeral but shit, there were so many parts that I cried like Nami's past, Brooks past (LABOON), Ace's death, when Jinbe was rehabilitating (I guess) Luffy, when Kuma made all the Straw Hats disappear on Saboady, in the 6th movie when Luffy was practically watching his crew almost die, & pretty much the entire Enies Lobby arc (I WANT TO LIVE) yeah
The first part in parentheses is unnecessary because I have most definitely devoted a lot of tears to this show, more so than any other. I think the main three parts are the Enies Lobby Declaration of War/Robin’s Confession, Merry’s Funeral and the Separation of the Straw Hats. I don’t think Brook’s back-story got to me that much for some reason, and neither did Ace’s death (that much? I can’t remember clearly) (that I allocate to how disappointed I was with how they handled that arc production-wise). But there are hands’ (plural not singular) full of other moments like Nami’s back-story, Nami finally asking Luffy for help, Chopper’s back-story (especially in the re-animated movie version), Calgara and Noland’s back-story, Otohime’s death, etc. It’s pretty interesting how difference you’ll find the experience of watching the series on the second, third, or whatever number time around, because I was definitely more emotive to certain parts (aka the little shit that I was in Elementary school wasn’t learned and understanding enough to appreciate the beauty of Nami’s arc).
